Tabata low impact for seniors workout is a great way to get fit by doing higher intensity intervals that will challenge your entire body. Tabata training is a protocol
developed by Dr. Izumi Tabata, a Japanese professor who was also the head coach
of the Japanese speed skating team.
The protocol uses short intervals of higher-intensity exercise with short rest
periods in between. The Low Impact Tabata format has been shown to burn calories, improve balance
and cardiorespiratory endurance.
Low impact Tabata class includes: warm up, 8 Tabata intervals with a focus on low impact, balance, strength exercises and cooldown.
Each interval is 4 minutes. Each interval is 20 seconds of exercise and10 seconds rest.
